Win7, adding network share to Library. Share is on 2008 server, with Windows Search Services, and indexed on the server -- Error: "This network location can't be included because it is not indexed."
Okay, I've searched all over, and found a few people with the same problem as this, but nobody with a solution.
When I try to add my user share into my documents library, I get the error "This network location can't be included because it is not indexed."
As best I can tell, I've got everything set up to where this should work:
My workstation runs Windows 7 Enterprise My user share is on a 2008 server Windows Search Service is installed on the server The entire data drive on the server is indexed.
What am I missing?

Windows 7 cannot work with network shares so easily. You need to be in a domain to get that working the way you want.Vote if answered or helpful, I am running for Office (joke)!

Thanks Miya for your suggestion, but that article doesn't seem to offer anything new. As I mentioned in the OP, the share is on a 2008 server with Windows Search Service installed and the share is on an indexed drive. I believe I've met all the requirements
listed in that post.

The client and server are in the same domain.

As per a suggestion here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverfiles/thread/f62cca43-0c13-41fb-a23a-e1dfb107f19f/?prof=required
I was able to add a smaller network share to the library without trouble. Now the question is if the issue can be fixed with larger shares, and what the threshold is in the mean time.
